An another slightly more unexpected loved from the range is the Body Fondant. I bought this purely out of curiosity as I'd never really tried a product like this before, and t I didn't really have high expectations, However, I was pleasantly surprised.
Zoella Sweet Inspiration Range
Yes, I've jumped on the bandwagon, with a post on the new Zoella beauty range, however with such adorable packaging why wouldn't you want to have photographs of it all over your blog, especially when there are people wanting to hear what others have to say about these products before purchasing, and for those who haven't been able to resist buying from the latest Zoella Beauty range, it's always interesting to see if others share the same opinion as you. Like most things which pass off our lips, there's is a reason people are talking about it, so I thought I'd have my say.
I kind of have mixed feelings about the collection. As I have touched on, the packaging is very pretty, and I think really echo's Zoe and the Zoella brand beautifully. The scent I also love. It's very sweet, but not sickly. I went into Superdrug and spritzed the fragrance to see what I thought, having smelt the fragrance I decided it was a winner and picked up a few bits; the Bath Latte, Body Cream, and Body Fondant. Throughout the rest of that day I found myself catching a whiff on the Body Mist, every now and then and falling more in love with the fragrance, so a few days later I returned to Superdrug and bought the rest of the range (besides the makeup bags, I have far too many of those already). As you can tell my very first impression of the range was pretty good. Now I've covered the aesthetics and the scent, let's get to the actual products.
I have found myself enjoying the Double Cream, the most. I have been looking forward to putting on my body moisturiser , which is a task I often find annoying and skip quite a lot. However, as I love this scent, and the thickness of this cream I am enjoying this step a lot more. This is definitely a product I'm going to repurchase. I like the scent, the formula, how it leaves my body feeling, the packaging, and the price. It's an all round win-win situation with this one.
The body fondant looks quite dark in the packaging. I opened it up and thought 'oh dear lord this is going to look ridiculous on my pale skin', which I was very wrong about. On the skin it offers a subtle iridescent shimmer and a small hint of warmth, yet has no effect on the colour of your skin. The best way I can think to describe this is a body highlighter which adds a subtle, healthy and pretty glow to your skin - which is perfect for me because I don't fake tan, but sometimes I do think it would be nice to give a little something extra to my skin. I like the balm formula to this also, it's not too heavy, or drying either. The body fondant also comes with a cute little puff for the application which is soft and makes for a quick and even finish. I do find a packaging of this one a bit odd. It's cute I know that, but the Zoella logo on the side of the lid is facing downwards, so they writing on the side looks upside down - or with the writing the correct way you have the ingredients and the boring bits at the top of the packaging, has anyone else noticed this? It's confused me slightly (I have just looked it up - it appears mine is the only one like this, what? Someone messed that packaging up).
From this range I was most excited for the bath products, I love a good bath (who doesn't?), so I was most excited when I saw Zoe was releasing her 'Bath Latte'. Straight after I purchased this I ran myself a bath and poured some in. I like the actual product, it smells great and produced lovely bubbles but I have been getting through it quite quickly. I have found you need to use quite a lot to create the super bubbly bath which I'd expected from a less of the product and the bubbles don't last as long as I would like, however, they may be partly because I tend to have the longest baths ever. I do really like the product, and for the price it's great, but I don't think it's any more special than any other bubble bath I've previously used. Also, the bottle is very sweet, but it would be so much more sophisticated (can packaging even be sophisticated?) if it were glass. However, you get what you pay for.
I felt somewhat disappointed with the Bath Salts. You get a lot of them considering the price, but I had a bit of a fail with opening them, as I pulled the plastic packaging apart, it did not come open as I expected, instead it ripped across the centre of the bag and bath salts went everywhere, which really was not ideal! However that could just be how I opened the packet rather than because of the actual packaging, and the outer box made this less of an issue as I could pop them back into the box with less worry about them spilling out of the broken bag. Again, I found I needed quite a lot of these bath salts to make a difference to my bath, which isn't necessarily a problem as there was so many in the packet. The bath salt infused my bath with that splendid sweet smell - however, they don't achieve much more than a faint pretty scent.
The bath fizz bar I found to have quite a similar effect to the bath salts it added a light scent to my bath, but not really doing a lot more than that, although it is quite satisfying to watch it fizz away in your bath. I also love the bar concept to this, it's a great way to allow you to easily break off the amount you want. I've found myself adding a line of this to each bath which is three squares, but if that's not enough for you can always add more.
Lastly, the Body Mist, the product which attracted me to the rest of the range. Firstly I 'll say this product feels a lot more pricey and therefore feels a lot more luxurious than you'd expect with it £8 price tag.
The scent I find it longer lasting and higher quality than I'd expect for a body mist so I've been using it as though it's perfume rather than a mist. I find this is a great scent to wear to work, because it smells lovely, and when used just on the neck, wrists etc as you would a perfume it is fairly subtle, yet very pretty and. of course it's such a good price you don't have to worry about using up your expensive fragrances on a daily basis, but still smell great.
I'm sorry for the length of this post, apparently, I had a lot more to say on the range than I'd realised .

Recently I popped to Lush and ended up picking up a few more bits than I'd expected.
I went to the Lush in Bristol Cribbs Causeway, and the girl there was so lovely and helpful, I couldn't myself when it came to spending on some of the things she recommended.
Of course, going to Lush I had to get myself a few bath bombs, as you can see I got some different bath bombs and bubble bars. Firstly I picked up a Twilight bath bomb, as I thought it would be the perfect treat to relax in a bath before bed. I have already used this one. It created the prettiest lavenders smelling, which was super relaxing - I even found the swirls of pastel pinks in a blues in my bath relaxing to watch. It is definitely one for before bed though.
I also got the Big Blue bath bomb, unlike the Twilight bath bomb I had never heard of this one before, so did not know what to expect. However the lady at the till told me it's great when you've got a hangover - and apparently, I'm pretty easy to sell to, because hearing that I quickly popped one in my basket.
Once again I have already used this one (and no, I didn't wait until I was hungover to give it a try, so can't really say if she was right). I liked it, it turned my bath blue, and the centre was filled with seaweed! I smell lovely and relaxing and my skin felt great after, however, I found it to be quite messy - I have to clean seaweed from the bath afterwards. Also unlike the Twilight bath bomb, it wasn't so pretty to look at. I'm glad I tried that one, and I enjoyed using it, but if I'm honest I won't be rushing to get that one again!
I went back to an old favourite bubble bar and got myself the Amandopondo bubble bar, which I'm sad to say on my shopping trip the lady told me they were discontinuing but I did write a blog post on this one a while back which you can find here, if you want to get hold of one, I'd pop to Lush ASAP before they're all gone.
As well as all the bath bits I got myself the Sea Salt face and body scrub and the Dirty styling cream.

I've been looking for a new scrub so decided to try out the Sea Salt Scrub. I've got to say it does the job, and leaves my skin silky smooth, however, although it is a great product I doubt I'll be buying it again, I think maybe I was a bit of an idiot when it came to buying this because I don't love it, as it's too salty... which it pretty much says in the name. I've stopped using it on my face because I feel like I'm going for a swim in the sea every time I do, and no matter how hard I try, I always end up with the taste of it in my mouth. Yuck. However as I said, the name of the product does give the sea saltiness away, yet still, I somehow didn't expect it to be quite so salty.
One of the girls working there advised me to pick up the Dirty Style Cream, as I explained to her my hair is wavy underneath, yet straight and flat on top, so the top needs a little something, so in my basket it went.
I do like this product and it does the job, however I'm not sure it is quite what I was looking for. As it's a styling cream you need to apply with your fingers, your very much in control of where you put the product, which is great, unless I want the product all over the top layer of your hair. As it's a cream, too much product can also make the hair appear a little more greasy than it is, and it clumps together more that I'd like. I think for me this product it's a little too hair work (lazy I know) and my hair is too long for it, I think it would be great for someone with shorter hair which needs spiky, or holding back, rather than longish hair which kind of hangs. I'm not really sure what I am getting at if I'm honest, I just find this product harder to use my hair that I'd like, I think a spray product would be much more suited to me.

Lush: Amandopondo Bubble Bar
If you read this blog post, you'll know I recently purchased the Lush Amandopondo bubble bar after feeling down, stressed and in need of a pamper.
I am so pleased with the buy I thought I would let my little blog know!
I have very sensitive skins, so although I have used Lush products many times before, I always feel cautious when trying out the new bath, shower or skincare products and find myself using minimal quantities of products (especially scented products) just in case it causing any irritation to my skin, on the plus side, all products I buy last ages!
I found despite using a minimal amount of the bubble bar, my bath was filled with bubbles and the scent was so fresh and relaxing - it's sweet without being sickly and overpowering which I find with a lot of sweeter scents. I actually love the scent so much I've found myself researching the ingredients to see if I can find a candle containing similar things which will hopefully give off the same sort of smell (Lush need to get a range of candles).
I will definitely be picking up one of these next time I am in Lush, I have had the perfect relaxing bath, got a few uses out of it, and the price wouldn't break the bank either!

Sometimes we need a little pick me up | Mini Haul...
Recently I haven't quite been feeling myself, I am not going to go into much detail. Let's just say I have been feeling a little more sensitive than usual, after having a day feeling as though I was going to burst into tears every five minutes despite for no particular reason I decided I was in need of a little treat and pamper.
Completely ignoring my spending ban, I headed to The Mall as soon as I finished work.
As I am supposed to be saving money and my bank account isn't looking too healthy as it is, I wanted to treat myself, without it hurting my bank account too much.
I decided to have a look around for something some bits to go towards having a much needed pamper evening.
After looking around the shops for a while I settle on buying myself two little bits, first off in Lush I got myself an Amandopondo bubble bar slice in Lush, and then I picked up Ridding Hood Nail Paint by Tanya Burr from Superdrug.
I have had my eye on the Tanya Burr Nail Polish, since purchasing the Picnic in the Park Lipgloss and being super impressed (blog post here).
Recently I've been dying to see what the nail polishes Tanya Burr had to offer.
Being a big fan of Tanya Burr, I have been admiring her nails as I've been watching her fashion week vlogs, - which happened to be the Ridding Hood Shade from her range.
With autumn/winter approaching I felt this shade would be perfect as the leaves begin to fall.

When browsing the Tanya Burr Nail Polishes I noticed they were also reduced from £5.99 to £3.99, so how could I can no!
Painting my nails is definitely a key part of a pamper evening.
Another key part of a pamper evening is, of course, a relaxing bath, so I headed to lush to see what I could pick up for my bath.
After smelling what felt like everything they sold in lush I settled with the Amandopondo bubble bar slice - something I have not tried before.

I really love the scent of this, I would describe this as a floral scent with a citrus kick. I'm super excited to have a bath with this one. As it's a bubble bar I can get more than one use out of it, which is always good!
I can't wait to have a little pamper evening tonight, with a nice relaxing bath, and a fresh coat of nail polish, I'm sure I'll feel like a new person!
