Wild Place.
My friend Matt and I recently spent the day visiting Wild Place. I've got, to be honest, I had my reservations beforehand - I don't love the idea of Zoo's and usually end up feeling sorry for the animal. Plus I also got the impression Wild Place pretty much just for toddlers. But with an £8 entrance free, with a percentage of is gift aided, I felt I had nothing to lose.
I was pleasantly surprised - although Wild Place is small, there is plenty to see. It feels intimate and does not feel like a zoo. The animal all have plenty of space and are far from caged in. It is the most open animal-based family attraction I had ever been to. We spoke to one of the volunteers who was very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He told us about the different animals, and what Wild Place is doing to help save animals from extinction - so I learnt to visit us actually a lovely thing to do.
There are different animals from Giraffes to Wolves.
Beyond the animals, there was a little more to see, from pretty wildflowers, a monument, and of course, a gift shop. There were an ice stand and an adventure park for children. The grounds are just lovely to wander around in general.
I'd recommend visiting!

Bagel Boy.
On a recent shopping trip with my friend Hj, she introduced to me to Bagel Boy, where we made our lunch stop. As I had my camera in hand and the interiors were instagrammable and the food was delicious, I wasn't going to miss this blog post opportunity.
I visited the Bagel Boy on St Nicholas Street, but there are several others dotted around Bristol.
Firstly, I was pleasantly surprised by the decor, it has a rustic feel (which I'd expected), but it also had a very homely intimate atmosphere (which I had not expected). I loved the artwork on the walls, I think it's really great when places nod towards creativity.
And as for the food, I was very impressed. As you can see from the menu - there were a lot of options. Being pescetarian, when I eat out, one of my main concerns is, will the food I get be nice, or will it's just a last-minute add to to the menu so they've at least got an option for the veggie. Well, there was plenty for me to choose from which is rare. I went for the Roaster Boy, which was roasted peppers, halloumi and salad with rosemary fries. The bagel was lovely and very tasty. I've never been a savoury bagel kinda girl, but I am completely converted now. I also think the fries were some of the nicest fries I've ever eaten. Such good food, and pretty cheap too - I will 100% be going back!

When payday came around I was quick to search around for the new foundation and moisturiser as I was running low and fancied a bit of a change.
I noticed Selfridges have recently started stocking the IT Cosmetics 'Your Skin but Better CC Cream' a product I've been desperate to get my hands on for ages, but living in the UK it was a lot more difficult to get hold of. I, of course, needed to order it immediately when I saw it on the Selfridges website. There's a quite a small shade range in this product, which for once I felt thankful for, it made ordering it online a lot easier to guess the shade I needed. Being on the paler side, it wasn't too difficult to figure out I either needed the shade fair or light. The fair was out of stock, so that was my decision made. Overall, I like the shade Light, it blends nicely and has a fairly neutral undertone. I possibly could have done with slightly lighter, I may try the Fair in the future, although Light is really not far from what I need.
The formula is very creamy, it feels hydrating and the light on the skin. As for how it looks - it does exactly what it says on the bottle. Despite the high coverage, it doesn't look at all heavy, it just looks like your skin, but better. It's also got the added bonus of SPF 50. On first impressions, I'm really impressed with the product. It got me wanted to try more from IT cosmetics, let me know if you have any recommendations, please!
While I was on the Selfridges website, I thought I'd browse the skincare, as no one wants to spend £5 on delivery for one item. When I noticed they sell the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream, I popped it straight into my basket. I've heard so many good things about this product, and as I often have dry, damaged skin, it seemed perfect. I was pleasantly surprised by the price. I'd always thought it was a slightly more expensive product, but at £10 it's a bargain. It's an unscented cream which is fairly thick. It's very non-offensive, which is what I look for in skincare as I know it's less likely to irritate my sensitive skin. I love that this is a multi-use product, I've found myself using it on my hands and elbows as well as the face. It sinks into the skin very fast, and simply feels nice to wears.
Overall, on first impressions, I'm really happy with both products. A very successful mini haul!

Little White Dress | Outfit Styling | Fashion
Last week in the UK the sun was shining and the sky was blue, so I decided to, take advantage, throw on a Summer dress I was yet to wear and spend some time enjoying my garden.
The dress in question is a white/ivory dress number, and no not a wedding dress - just a pretty dress white dress, and felt great wearing it. I simply paired in with tan sandals and bag to keep things neutral and, and my hair in a low bun, because as I said it was hot.
I soon realised I felt great in this outfit - even if the white dress is a little wedding-y, wearing it is the closest I'm going to get to get my wedding for a long time! It's nice to wear white the sunshine, it feels fresh and cool, and I loved to boho vibes I got from the outfit. I'm sure this dress will be making it's way out of my wardrobe a lot more as the temperature picks up.
