When payday came around I was quick to search around for the new foundation and moisturiser as I was running low and fancied a bit of a change.
I noticed Selfridges have recently started stocking the IT Cosmetics 'Your Skin but Better CC Cream' a product I've been desperate to get my hands on for ages, but living in the UK it was a lot more difficult to get hold of. I, of course, needed to order it immediately when I saw it on the Selfridges website. There's a quite a small shade range in this product, which for once I felt thankful for, it made ordering it online a lot easier to guess the shade I needed. Being on the paler side, it wasn't too difficult to figure out I either needed the shade fair or light. The fair was out of stock, so that was my decision made. Overall, I like the shade Light, it blends nicely and has a fairly neutral undertone. I possibly could have done with slightly lighter, I may try the Fair in the future, although Light is really not far from what I need.
The formula is very creamy, it feels hydrating and the light on the skin. As for how it looks - it does exactly what it says on the bottle. Despite the high coverage, it doesn't look at all heavy, it just looks like your skin, but better. It's also got the added bonus of SPF 50. On first impressions, I'm really impressed with the product. It got me wanted to try more from IT cosmetics, let me know if you have any recommendations, please!
While I was on the Selfridges website, I thought I'd browse the skincare, as no one wants to spend £5 on delivery for one item. When I noticed they sell the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream, I popped it straight into my basket. I've heard so many good things about this product, and as I often have dry, damaged skin, it seemed perfect. I was pleasantly surprised by the price. I'd always thought it was a slightly more expensive product, but at £10 it's a bargain. It's an unscented cream which is fairly thick. It's very non-offensive, which is what I look for in skincare as I know it's less likely to irritate my sensitive skin. I love that this is a multi-use product, I've found myself using it on my hands and elbows as well as the face. It sinks into the skin very fast, and simply feels nice to wears.
Overall, on first impressions, I'm really happy with both products. A very successful mini haul!

Rose Oil Blend (£26) - I've really enjoyed using this oil so far, it just gives my skin that extra bit of nourishment could do with. It does take a little while to sink into the skin, though, but smell lovely and leaves my skin feeling well looked after.
Pixi Skincare Haul
A beauty brand I really love is Pixi. The Pixi Glow tonic has quickly become a staple in my skincare routine, as soon as I'm running low, I'll repurchase because I can't bare to go without this.
Anyway, as my love for the brand seems to be common knowledge. I was very kindly treated to some other Pixi skincare bits for Christmas - so here's what I got and my thoughts so far...
Rose Oil Blend (£26) - I've really enjoyed using this oil so far, it just gives my skin that extra bit of nourishment could do with. It does take a little while to sink into the skin, though, but smell lovely and leaves my skin feeling well looked after.
Overnight Glow Serum (£26) - okay, I've cheated a little with this one, as I actually had it a while before Christmas. But I love it. The morning after I use this my skin is just a little less dull than usual and noticeably evens skin tone.
Nourishing Sleep Mask (£18) - this is super moisturising and comfortable to sleep in. In the morning after using this I can really feel the difference, my skin feels a lot more hydrated and less tight than usual. I'm really enjoying using this product so far! Glow Mud Cleanser (£18) - This is one of those cleansers which just makes your skin feel really clean, although it doesn't really remove makeup, so you have to do that in a separate step. It's very thick and feels almost mask-like when it first goes on the skin and then leaves your skin feeling really fresh and exfoliated, despite the texture of the product feeling more like a balm than a scrub on the skin
Glow Tonic (£18)- as I've already touched on, this has become a staple in my skincare routine. It's hard to describe, but it just gives my skin a radiance and my skin feels so much smoother when I use this.
Make-Up Melting Cleansing Cloths (£10) - I tend to steer away from makeup wipes because overall they're not great for your skin, but these ones seem fairly non-offensive. They don't quite remove every inch of product from my skin, but they manage a fair amount, and they don't irritate my sensitive skin. They're great for those days when you're in a bit of a rush and I'll definitely be packing these next time I'm travelling.
Have you tried any of the Pixi products? As a whole, I'm pretty impressed with the brand!

Neal's Yard Remedies Haul and Reviews
A month or so ago I had a bit of a splurge in Neal's Yard Remedies. My skin was feeling crappy and I felt in definite need of an updated skincare routine - so I found myself at the till in Neal's Yard on my lunch break, passing over my debit card for pretty much, everything that took my fancy.
I probably spent more than I should have on skincare in one day, however, I think it's paid off.
My skin is feeling the benefits, even if my bank balance did not.
The Nourishing Orange Flower Night Cream - I'm really enjoying using this night cream. It's quite a thick consistency and my skin begins to feel sort of tight when I apply it, which I like, it feels as though it doing something. The scent is also nice, not too overpowering.
Honey & Orange Facial Scrub - This is my least favourite of the products I purchased. It does the job, however, I feel it's a little rough for my sensitive skin and I'm not a fan of the thick texture.
Orange Flower Facial Oil - I love this oil. It just leaves my skin feeling great.
Orange Flower Daily Moisturiser - I really like this, but I do think you can find some high street moisturisers which do a similar job. It's a great product, I just think you don't necessarily need to splash out on a moisturiser when there are some great ones in the drugstore, however, this one is lovely if you do like to spend a little more on your moisturiser
Aromatherapy Room Spray Calming - As I spent so much that I received a free room spray which is worth £17, which is, of course, great, and I will be buying this again. I'm really impressed with this room spray, a few sprites around the room and I do feel a sense of calm. It's not too overpowering, just enough, my only complaint would be is that the scent does not linger as long as I would like.
With the majority of these bits I have gone for products that are aimed at people with dry skin (besides the room spray obviously, and the scrub), and I can clearly see how the condition of my skin has improved after using them for just a few months. My skin is a lot less dry and dehydrated.
Plus the packaging is so lovely and luxurious on all of the Neal's Yard Remedies products, they look so pretty on your dressing table, which positive for me.
I'm so pleased with all my Neal's Yard buys, and it's a brand I will be going back to, to either repurchase some of these bits or see what else they have to offer me.
