 Lately, I've found myself admiring Arden Rose's blue eye make up in her Instagram story one day, so I decided to pop some blue eye shadow on myself and see how it looked. Personally, I love how it turned out - I felt great the entire day I wore this, I think this may be a go-to look for when I fancy being a little more colourful with my makeup, especially now Spring is coming around.

Moons, Hoops and Gems.

I recently realised my collection of earrings was a little sparse, so I was quick to open up ASOS, to see what they had to offer. I got myself a couple new sets, so I thought I'd show how I've been decorating my ears recently.

I like to keep things fairly simple in the earring department more so I went for quite small, subtle sets, with a mix of metals, unlike many people, I don't really have a preference when it comes to gold, silver or rose gold and tend to wear all three, I also quite like wearing a mix of metals, which I'm pretty sure must be breaking so major 'fashion rule' - my bad.

My obsession with crescent moons is ever growing - so of course, moon earrings were a must!
First I brought these moon hoops - which were a repurchase, as my sister had bought me a set for Christmas and I lost one, so now at least I have a spare. They're so unusual and make a bit of a statement without being too OTT.

I also opted for some moon shaped studs. The first pair came in a set of two which included rose gold moon studs, and small gold hoop - this set was perfect, I was on the search for both items, so getting them together was a bonus. I then came across another set with a moon stud - however, this set had just the one rose gold moon stud, with a small gold stud with a clear gem for one ear, and for the other ear, a silver shooting star (similar linked) which rides up the ear lobe. Having my ears pierced twice the seems like the perfect set of three earrings for me, and I love the idea that earring sets do not necessarily have to match.  I think this is my favourite set which I picked up. 

I also picked up some tiny silver hoops, with a  sort of twisted ridged edge (similar linked). I wanted some small silver hoops as I feel they're an earring staple, and the ridged edge just made them so much more interesting than all the other small silver hoops on offer!

Poppy Days | Bourjois Rouge Velvet Liquid Lipstick Review.

When I was last browsing Boots, this lipstick caught my eyes, and I couldn't leave without it. It's the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Liquid Lipstick in the shade Poppy Days. The colour is a beautiful orange-red. The formula is great, it's long-lasting and not at all drying. I would say the application isn't the easiest - I'd recommend going in with a liner first!

The colour pay-off of the lip product is lovely. Poppy Days is such a stunning colour to make a sophisticated statement which will take you through to Spring and Summer.
I've already received a fair few compliments wearing this lipstick, and I only bought it last week!

At just £8.99, I've fallen in love with giving my lips some Poppy Days!

Witchy OOTD.

Recently I've been feeling a little lost, style-wise.  I have always felt I know what I like, until recently when getting dressed in the morning seems to become more of a challenge each day. A few days ago I found myself staring blankly at the contents of my wardrobe, as I do most days, and a black skirt, which had been pretty unloved hiding at the back of my wardrobe, caught my eye.  It's a piece I rarely wear, and I'm not sure why. Last time I wore this skirt, I received a lot of compliments, and felt, well special - and who doesn't want to feel special.

I decided to pop this black skirt with a black blouse over a black cami, at first I wasn't sure if it gave off too many funeral vibes, - I mean black on black can do that, so I decided to be a little more daring and take off my black vest, and wear it with a pretty bra, to show the sheerness of the fabric - I've gotta admit, it a little more see-through than I would like, but it certainly makes the outfit a little more interesting. I love the pretty collar, and buttons down the front of this blouse - it's a nice detail and takes aways from the hey look at my boobs aspect for when I do decide to wear it with only a bra underneath.

It's definitely a bit of witchy look, but who doesn't love giving off those Halloween vibes, even during Spring?!

A Peak into my Bedroom

I feel as though my bedroom is finally looking somewhat how I want it to, I really love my little space, so I thought I'd share it with you.
As my bedroom is tiny, I don't have space for a desk so tend to pop my bit I need for the day on my bed, and use a little tray as a make-shift desk. On the wall against my bed, I have a cloud shelf where I store some other stationery bits and some book which are on my to-read list.

I've got a couple of plants on my window-seel to bring in a bit of greenery, but I definitely want to get some more plants for my room, as just add a bit of colour and life to space!
My bookshelf is one of the favourite parts of my room,  I love the colourful aspect which the books bring in. Some of my beautiful little trinkets from my trip to India also sit on my bookshelf.
