My life in education is finally over, after waiting for the end of education to come in what feel like forever, now its finally over, and I'm feeling slightly lost. I kept assuming when the end of my education came around things would just fall into place (I know it's only been a little over a week since I finish uni, but I didn't expect this empty feeling nonetheless). The realisation that I am actually still unsure what I want to do with my life and now is the time to figure it out is hitting. There are many things I like, and many things I love, but what aspect of my life, what skills and interests do I want to take forward into a career?
It's hit me that I've never done this whole growing up thing before (stating the obvious, I know), I need to decide where I want to live, what I want to do and figure out how to get there. Quite frankly thinking about it all is scaring me to death.
The end of University was so hectic that I didn't really give myself time to process that it was coming to the end and big life changes are on the horizon.
I do have a job at home to go back to, as a nursery nurse, and yes I do enjoy that job, but as the fashion degree suggests, it is no a career path that I intended on staying in. I'm aware that the longer I stay in the job which I'm comfortable in, the more like I am to stay forever. Alongside my million reasons to get a new job, as shallow as this sounds I really want a job where I can wear makeup to work, I feel good the morning take I put lipstick on.
I need to figure out where to start on my job hunt and what I'm looking for, I guess for now I'll go with the approach of applying for everything, hope for something I love.

As you may or may not know, I am a huge lipstick fan. Usually, I'm a red girl, and the majority of lipsticks I own and wear are red. People often comment on how my lipstick matches my hair (it is not intentional, I just happen to like both my hair and lips red). However recently I've been trying to push myself to step away from that classic red which I'm so used to. I've tried out several new lipsticks, but my favourite has to be 'Girl About Town' by MAC Cosmetics which is a pink lipstick.
The Shade:
It's very bright, which is actually in my comfort zone (I know most people find wearing bright lipstick intimidating, I, however, feel the most like me in a standout lip) however, unlike my go-to lip colour, it's more of a pink than a red. I'd describe this colour as a fuchsia pink with a slight blue undertone. It's become one of my favourite MAC lipstick colours
The Formula:
This shade has an amplified creme finish which I really like, it's definitely my favourite finish of the few MAC lipsticks I own. The formula glides on very easily, and it's moisturising. When I've used MAC lipsticks with a matte finish, although I like how they look I've found them to be too drying, they're uncomfortable to wear and more of a challenge to apply. Although a matte finish tends to last slightly longer, it's nothing too significant, this one is long-lasting enough for me.
I really love 'Girl About Town' by MAC, I think the colour is beautiful and very pigmented. It's also more of a brightening, summery shade which brings a feel good-vibe to any look. It's a really nice finish and feels great on the lips. Overall I'm super happy I purchased this lipstick and can't stop wearing it.

So, here are some images of my final collection on the runway. As you can see I opted to make 4 women's outfits and two men outfits.
I am so proud to think how much I've grown up and all that I've learnt throughout my University experience, both when it comes to fashion, and life in general It's crazy to think I pretty much failed AS textile, twice, and soon enough I'll be graduating with a BA(Honours) degree in Fashion.
Fashion Graduate: My Final Collection
I've finally made it to to the of my degree. As you may know, the third year of a Fashion degree usually consists of creating a final collection from initial inspiration through to designing and making the garments. You then showcase that collection of 6 outfits in a fashion show at the end of the year.
I opted to make both men's and women's clothing. My collection included two dresses, three tops, two pairs of trousers, a pair of culottes, a jumpsuit, two capes and even some leg and neck warmers. I used a range of techniques within my collection, such as quilting and knitting which became main features.

The build-up to the fashion show is very nerve-wracking, having worked so hard on the collection for months before. There's a lot of pressure for your garments to come out the way you'd imaged.
As a third-year student, I got to watch the show, leaving the dressing, hair, makeup and modelling to others, which left me feeling both relaxed and anxious at the same time. I knew anything that went wrong was out of my hands, which is both freeing and daunting. Thankfully nothing did go wrong, with my collection or throughout the entire show.

The show was a success and I am so proud of everyone involved, myself included. I couldn't have asked for it to have gone any better. It is really strange to think my three years of University are over. It has flown by. I'm quite terrified to think it's now time to start my adult life and find a real job... fingers crossed I'll fall into something I love.

I have been home in Bristol from Uni (in Plymouth) this week, and although I've probably fallen pretty behind with my work, I've had the nicest time at home so I don't feel quite so bad as it was definitely what I needed.
I had two pretty good nights out, one of which was very spontaneous, both of which were very drunk. I've been to a party and got to catch up with friends, and had a girly sleepover and some DVD days. In this week home I've probably spent far too much money, watched too many films, not done enough work and ate and drank too much. Yet I feel like it's been worth it. It's been lovely seeing my friends and family and it's so lovely to enjoy my home comforts.

The Ren Emollient Rescue Cream (similar linked) has been an absolute lifesaver for my skin. I suffer from really dry, sensitive skin, so always worry about changing up my basic skincare routine with the same familiar products, which has left me using the same moisturiser for years, despite it only having made a difference to my skin for about all of five minutes and then left my skin in the same condition it was before I smothered my face in cream. Alas, I decided to be brave and try something new, and I will definitely not be going back.
I first read about this product on a random blog (sorry, I no longer have the link) I found when looking for a skincare recommendation and as the price isn't too high I decided to pop to M&S and get some. Since I have been using this product my skin has been in better condition than it has for years.
The moisturizer is a very thick consistency, it absorbs into the skin quickly, and has a very slight clinical scent to it.
It would definitely recommend this product for those of you with dry skin, especially if your skin is in need of a rescue (I feel the product was named particularly well as it has definitely saved my skin). On the packaging it says suitable for all skin types, however, I feel it could be slightly too thick for a more oily skin type.
This is the first of the REN skincare products I've tried, so I am looking forward to giving some more of their products a go to see if the entire range is this impressive. I've also very pleased to hear that REN Skincare is Vegan and Cruelty-Free.

Me, Myself and I...
Although I have many other posts planned (makeup reviews to come shortly), I decided to put them on hold and to make my first 'real' post some facts about me, so you hopeful don't feel like you're reading the words of a complete stranger.

- I recently became a vegetarian.
- I'm 22, and yes I still suck my thumb.
- I'm almost blind in my left eye.
- I'm the youngest child, I have a brother and a sister.
- a have a small obsession with the moon, daisies and wolves. I have no idea why.
- I only own two pairs of jeans, usually, if I'm wearing them it means I'm in a bad mood.
- I currently have 4 tattoos, and more planned, however, I'm too scared my mum will kill me if I get any more.
- Despite being 22, I still ask my mum every time I want to do something.
- My lecturer has nicked named me Chole, it seems to have stuck.
- Although my hair is a ridiculously bright, unnatural red, I get people asking if it's natural at least once a week.
- Sometimes I write poetry. Pretty bad, embarrassing poems.
- My favourite film is 500 Days of Summer.
- I read before if a crush exceeds four months its love, if this were true I've been in love four times. However, I wouldn't necessarily believe that.
- I decided to do 26 facts because I really like the number 26, I've no idea why, but it's my lucky number,
- I like to look up the meaning of my dreams and read my horoscopes far too much.
- Fox and the Hound is the only film to really make me cry.
- I'm left-handed.
