Hello!
It feels like forever since I sat and typed out a little blogpost, well it's all for good reason. I have spent the past two weeks in India!
It was an amazing trip which I went on with Jess who has been a close friend of mine for years. We went on an escorted tour which was so well organised.  We travelled around South India for the two weeks, going to Chennai, Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. Our tour guide seemed to know everything, so I feel as though I learnt so much about India and it's culture, alongside seeing it all too.

We also met a lot of people. Our tour group consisted of 36 people all of which were lovely. Me and Jess were the youngest of the group by quite a bit, most of the group were retired, to at 23 years old we should have felt slightly out of place, however I didn't whatsoever, everyone was so friendly to us, and had such interesting stories to tell, I really enjoyed sitting quietly hearing what they all had to say.

I found the culture in India quite over whelming. Before I went somebody said to me "the people over there have nothing but they're the happiest people you will ever met", and that the only way I can think to describe it. It was such an amazing experience it's hard to put into words, so I'll let photo do the talking.  I'll warn you now, I took a lot of photos, so this won't be the only post.

Day 1 (and the evening before)
Day one of was by far our busiest day, and as I took so many photos throughout the holiday, as we did so much one the first day the blog post is going to be photos purely from that day, however the rest of the post will consist of photos over a couple of days.
Day one included visiting a Church, Fort Museum (where you couldn't take photos unfortunately), Beach, several Monuments and travelling to our second hotel - as I said it was busy, there was so much to take in!
We were so welcomed to all of our different hotels. Our first hotel presented us with this beautiful flower necklace.

I hope you have enjoyed this little insight into the first day of my trip. I can't wait to share the rest of the photos with you.

Love Chloe
