At the age of 27, it's beginning to happen like everyone tells you it will, The Wedding Invitations have started rolling in. Going to weddings can be both joyful and somewhat daunting. You know how important this day is to the bride and groom, and there a pressure for everything to be right. For me, I love scouting out people wedding guest outfits, not to judge but to seek inspirations. Different weddings have different vibes, one dress might be suitable at one wedding, might not be quite right for another. Alongside knowing that the photographs taken on the day will be cherished for years, it feels important to find the perfect #ootd
I'm always happiest when I love what I'm wearing, those days I open my wardrobe a can find the perfect outfit. As a wedding guest, it's important that I feel confident and can concentrate on the happy couple, rather than if my dress is the right fit. I want my clothes to add to the magic of the day, to make me feel special. Whether you're there all day, or just to dance the evening away, it makes a difference what glad rags you're wearing. With all of this in mind when AngelEyeFashion contacted me and kindly offered to gift me some outfits from there Wedding Guest Collection, I was over the moon to see what they had to offer.
I picked out two dresses which I fell in love with, both floral number, so they're perfect for any Spring celebration I've got coming up.
I love the colours of the floral print of this dress, it adds a pretty, feminine touch. The maxi has two slits in the skirt, which really makes it flattering, and allows you to subtly show a little leg, and who doesn't want that? Initially, I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't pull off the keyhole neckline, as I've got a slightly fuller bust, I didn't want there to be a cleavage overload, but I actually found the feature to be more discreet, and really work for my body shape. The tie around the neck and waist offer more options of how to wear it. Personally, I love a little bow around the back, which pulls me in at the waist.

I love the colours of the floral print of this dress, it adds a pretty, feminine touch. Secondly, I went for this Floral embroidered mesh midi
The second dress I went for is this one, which technically is two dresses. With a flattering black slip underneath. Over, there is a black mesh midi dress with the most beautiful embroidered flowers. There is gathering around the hem and elasticated wasted creating an interesting silhouette. The mesh material shows just enough skin, and the ditsy flowers really add a softness to the black fabric. To put it simply, I just feel really special in this dress.

I found myself admire the Tiger print jumpsuit in the window of Whistles for weeks, but I couldn't justify splashing on the jumpsuit simply because the tiger print is really freaking cool. I then I got invited to the evening of a wedding, and jumpsuit went on sale in the same week - so I felt as though felt as though the universe wanted to me to have the jumpsuit - and even if the universe didn't want me to have it, I wanted it enough.
As this jumpsuit is quite a statement piece, I found styling it to be a little challenging - in the end
I fell in love with some silver heels and decided the worked quite well against the navy of the jumpsuit.
To go with heels I picked up a small silver bag to put my bits in. The bag is quite small and if overstuff it, it does tend to pop open (as I'm sure you've noticed in a couple of the pictures). The jumpsuit, however, does have pockets, which excited me far too much! The pockets also stopped me worrying about the practicalities of having an iPhone 7+ and all the other handbag essentials to store and a tiny bag.
As for the jumpsuit - I am in love with it. It's silk - the fabric feels lovely and the quality of the garment is great. The only downside to the silk fabric is the creases, and panty lines can definitely show with the wrong underwear. It's a halter neck - so either a strapless bra or no bra is required as straps will definitely ruin the look.
The print is of tigers which I love. I think the tiger print is really effective because the tigers aren't initially obvious. The tiger has little orange eyes which bring another beautiful colour into the jumpsuit. I decided to go with orange tones nails and lips to tie in with the tiger's eyes, and I think it nicely finished off the look!

Wedding Bells..
Last Saturday I went to my cousin's wedding which was wonderful...
As you can see the bride and groom both looked stunning and happier than ever.
I'm sure you're wondering what outfit choice I made, so here it is...
Sorry, these are the best pictures of my outfit I have as I forgot to get some outfit pictures for my blog.
So I opted for this beautiful long dress which I bought in a shop called Motiq in Clifton Village in Bristol. (I've had a look for a website for this shop but can't find one), anyway, my dress was slightly more pricey, at £95, which is more than I wanted to spend but it's 100% silks, so your fabric is beautiful, and I felt the dress was so unusual, I knew nobody else would have anything similar, and I'll definitely wear it again, so although it was a bit more expensive, it feels it's definitely an investment.
With this, I wore some gold sandal (low) heel I bought for House of Fraser, and some jewellery from Topshop and Accessorize.
As I've already said it was my cousin wedding, and as we're all quite a close family it was definitely a nice excuse to spend a bit of time with all of the family.

The ceremony was really lovely. After there was a spot of rain, but fortunately it didn't last and I managed to avoid most of it.
How adorable do my two-second cousins Layla and Freya look walking to the Marquee under my umbrella?!
There was a balloon release for the people the Bride, Groom and family who have lost loved ones, which I thought was a really lovely idea. It meant we got to release balloons with lovely messages for My Dad, and Nan who have both passed away.
The evening of the wedding was so much fun we all had a few drinks (well apart from the kids!) and a good time dancing with each other. There was also a photobooth, and costumes which was so much fun.
Layla and Freya (the younger second cousins in the photo's earlier) decided it was a good idea to dress myself and Kerry (my sister) up, so they kept bringing us things from the photobooth to put on while we sat at the table, which was so funny, you can see how ridiculous we looked in the photo below.
Anyway, I feel I'm dragging this post out much more than I need to now, so I'll finish it off.
I had a lovely time at the wedding, and would like to say a massive congratulation to Anna and Marcus and thank you for a wonderful day!
