Kate Spade | Wishlist

I recently found myself browsing the Kate Spade website (and the Kate Spade stuff on every other website) and falling in love with basically everything, so I have decided to pick out a few of my favourite bits and put together a little wish list.

1) Freedom, books, flower Notebook (£27.95) - i have fallen in love with the quote on this notebook to the extent it's my phone background and I'm considering getting it tattooed. I have never wanted a notebook so much in my life, however £27.95 is pushing the boat out a bit for a notebook, I'm still probably going to treat myself to this one, although I'll probably find it's too nice to actually write in!

2) Leave something to the imagination notebook (£26.95) - I'm sure you can see by now I love a good quote?! I think this would make the cutest journal.
3) Earrings (£40) - In my opinion the emerald green colour of these earring is stunning, I think they'd be the perfect elegant way to dress up an outfit.

4) Clean slate bangle (£40) - Everyone feels like they need a clean slate once in a while right? This bangle is just the sweetest way to represent that clean slate, and it's super pretty, yet so simple.
5) Leather strap watch (£195) - I'm in desperate need of a watch, and I think the price of this one is pretty good. I'm not a fan of metal watch straps, so I love the classic look of this one with the black leather strap and plain face, I can't wait until I have a bit of spare money to get my hands on one of these.

6) Handbag (£370) - You couldn't really go wrong with this handbag could you? It's so classic and beautiful. I love the burgundy suede detail on the sides, I think it's the perfect elegant yet subtle finish.

7) Handbag (£165) - I think this bag would be great for the days when you don't need to carry much in your bag. I love this red shade, it's the perfect way to add a pop of colour to an outfit (especially if, like me you're a little too monochrome all the time). It's comes in other colours too if the red isn't quite for you.

8) Heart of gold bangle (£25) - This bangle is adorable right? Sometimes simplicity is all you need.

9) Things to do tray (£39.95)  - If I owned this I would definitely be more organised, right? If not at least my pile of things to do would look nice in a pretty tray. I wish I worked from home or something so that I could justify spending £39.95 on a things to do tray.

10) Rotating Stamp with pad (£24.95) - because who wouldn't want a stamp with says things such as "escape the ordinary" and "be an elegant thinker", I certainly want it.

I'm not going to lie, that is only a small percentage of the Kate Spade bits I have been lusting after (yes I have became slightly obsessed with Kate Spade), but if I carry on this post will go on forever, so I decided to cut it short at 10 items - now I just need to start saving for them all!

What have you been looking to get your hands on?

Bedroom Snippets

I thought it would be nice to post a few pictures I have taken of the little details of my bedroom, as I am becoming increasingly more interested in interior and home bits, so I love to look at other blogposts where people share their living space, whether that be bedroom, office, living room etc. I am pretty happy with my little tiny (I must be the only 23 year to still have a single bed?!) bedroom, so I decided it was time I shared it - I hope you like it!

2015 | Word Vomit.

Despite my New Years promises it's been a little while since I blogged, sorry!
Anyway due to my lack of post this year I thought I'd do a bit of an update post, tell you about my 2015 so far, and what the deal with my New Years goals are two months in, and of course share a few photos too...

Just a few snaps from this year so far. I want to start taking more photos, which I can share on here - I'd love to make my blog slightly more personal, and photos of my life would be a great start.

The past two month have been pretty fun. I've had lot of fun nights out, seen my housemate from uni, caught up with old friends, have some lovely days out and drank a lot of tea (of course).

I feel at the moment I am at the rather strange in between point in my life which no one warns you about - you know, where you're definitely not a child anymore, but don't feel anywhere near ready to be an adult, you have a degree, but you don't have a clue what to do with it, you have a job, but not a carer. Just stuck in between trying to work out what to do with the rest of your life.

Life seems to be on a bit of a pause while I figure things out. Having said that, I am at a very happy point in my life, despite this complete feeling a loss as I try to figure out what direction to go in now.

I have also been working a lot, although I have two jobs unfortunately neither of them are what I want to be doing in years to come, but I enjoy them both, so for now they do, until I figure it out.

I have been thinking of my future a lot recently and speaking to a lot of different people about it. I am considering a few different routes. Quite a lot of people have said they can see me being a teacher, although I have a rather intense fear of public speaking and can be a total push over, I think I can see it too, so I'm getting myself some working experience at a school and considering applying for a PGCE, it's just one idea however.

My new years goals were something I wanted to also touch on in this post. So some of them I have already broke (as always), I have been blogging or uploading youtube videos as much as I intended - mainly because I don't want to force things. I haven't been inspired with blogging, therefore I haven't wanted to blog, so I haven't. I want to keep blogging enjoyable, if I have to force myself to do it, it's not longer enjoyable. I do feel my inspiration seems to be coming back though, yay! And with youtube, I decided I want to concentrate on blogging for a while (I know contradicts what I just said, but you understand, right?), I feel there is a lot I can do to improve my blog and as a blogger, and if I'm busy learning how to make videos, I won't be spending the time making my blog all it can be.

I have kept up some of my new years goals. I have been reading more, I am aiming to read at least one book a month this year, I've almost finish my second now (Gone Girl), I do plan on reviewing any books I read on here and would love to hear any book recommendations. I have also been writing in my diary quite often which I am finding quite therapeutic, and it's just a nice way to keep memories. I've began drawing again, although not as much as I should be. I am considering joining a life drawing class soon.

I have had a very happy two months, and I hope the rest of my year continues this way. I have noticed I am becoming more comfortable with myself, more independent and more in control of my emotions and self aware. I'm heading good directions. I feel I am being begging to find myself again, I think because I've started to do the things I love again.

Sorry this post is a bit all over the place, I just fancied doing a bit of a casual chatty post, although I must admit I did just kind of word vomit everywhere, these posts feel good to do occasionally.

I hope you're all feeling the same positive vibes I am right now!

H&M Home | Wishlist

One thing I've noticed over the past year or so is that I have became more interested in is home interior... does this mean I am an adult yet?!

I just found myself looking at some home inspiration blogposts, which of course led to me browsing the H&M home section, and planning my future house. I still live with my mum so it seems silly buying all of these bits now, so I decided to write a little home wishlist to refer back to when it comes the time to fill my own place.

Who knew cute dishcloths were a thing? Well apparently the are, and I think these two are adorable for the tea lover (... me!) these are just £1.99, and they will definitely add an extra cute factor to your kitchen essentials (you can find them here and here).

Everyone loves cushions right? A million cushions on your sofa to cuddle up against, and on your bed so you have to spend a good 10 minutes moving them each night before you can get into bed, that's all anyone wants, right?
Well I found quite the selection of cushion/cushion covers on the H&M website which I fell in love with, so here they are...
Isn't the cushion above (cover available here) just adorable, and the cover is just £3.99 hardly going to break the bank! I definitely need this one on my bed, and I also want to sit and read exactly what it says (anyone else trying to read it now?)

I love the rustic (can a cushion even be rustic? you get what I mean though right?) feel to this cushion, I think the bee print is so sweet, this one is slightly more expensive at £12.99 - but still a pretty good price nonetheless (available here).

I think the cushion would be perfect to brighten up a room, these colours all look amazing together and I love the simple geometric pattern!

This is my childish side coming out, I mean who wouldn't want a dinosaur cushion? Is it acceptable for a 23 year old female to buy this for her bedroom? I am definitely getting myself on of these nonetheless!

I think this is the perfect cushion to finish off a sofa - I also love a good tassel!

The cushion is another which would be perfect to brighten up a room, it's so simple, yet so cute!

The next two cushions (above and below) would be great together, once again they're really simple, yet cute and would be a nice finishing touch to a room.

Another thing that caught my eye in the H&M home section was this little glass, I love the rose gold/pink tint to it. The would be great to store my paintbrushes (or for the toothbrushes as it's meant for).

This soap dish is cute, that's all I'm going to say about that.

I just want to smell this candle, a lot.

Can you tell I quite like the whole rose gold look? I think this hook would be a nice way to finish a door and a pretty way to hang my dressing grown (or whatever else).

Carrying on with the rose gold theme, I think this candle stick holder is adorable!

Lastly I'm going to finish with these towel, they are so perfect for the beauty lover (me!).

Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on something of these bits in the near future. Have you had your eye on any home pieces?
